I was staggered to discover, when there appeared to be major stock shortages, that O2 had to give me a new phone to change me from PAYG to pay-monthly. I didn't want a new phone (it was just hassle) and they didn't want a second hand phone back into stock, but their systems are so inflexible they could do nothing else. Rubbish. Good job the phone itlself is such a joy (though it's amazing how dependent you can become on a half decent 3g connection - pretty painful out in the boondocks). Simon So true.
